From matchmaking to material change: ten awarded Athens SMEs
A portfolio of the ten Athens SMEs awarded through FABRIX WP4 and the collaborations their matchmaking produced — circular products, digital demonstrators and next-stage partnerships, each with its outcome pathway and evidence level.
FABRIX WP4 ran a matchmaking process in Athens: local makers, recyclers and designers were paired around a shared problem, then supported to turn the pairing into something that ships. Ten of those collaborations were awarded.
This portfolio documents each of them — what the SME does, who it was matched with, what the collaboration produced, and how far it got. The outcome pathway and evidence levels used throughout let you read the portfolio critically: some entries are finished products, others are demonstrators, and the report says which is which.
It is written for facilitators designing their own matchmaking process, and for researchers looking for evidence of what activation actually yields.
